So, let’s have some fun with the 2 gamechangers this week: Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision making a big leap with Dall-E and Elon Musk actually buying the Tweeties for 44 billion bucks.
If you want my personal take on Musk buying Twitter, here you go: 1. Musk is one of the most interesting figures in tech space there is and he’s a far shot from palpatine wannabe Peter Thiel, i actually believe Musk when he muses about his philanthropic views which he combines with some accelerationism and anarchism. If anyone should buy Twitter, it’s him. 2. I’m pretty much with Jack Dorseys take on the deal: “[Twitter] wants to be a public good at a protocol level, not a company. Solving for the problem of it being a company however, Elon is the singular solution I trust.” Musk already said he’s not interested in the economics of Twitter and may get rid of advertising. We’ll see how this goes, but I’m pretty optimistic about this.
However, I only came across very few AI-artists imagining this deal today, which is astounding, no? The Tesla-founder aquiring maybe the most unique social network there is, this should be a bigger thing in the AI-artist-space too, with these two “dramatic renaissance painting of Elon Musk buying Twitter” being nearly the only interesting AI-artworks out there.
So I went on some AI playground sites, generated some semi-coherent text to accompany some images I created with CLIP+QGan, Dribnet, Dall-E 1 and I also produced some weird prose with Jurassic-1 to go with it.
Someone had to do it, so here’s Robot-Elon doing his thing.
Elon Musk bought Twitter for 44 Billion Dollars
Elon Musk bought Twitter for 44 Billion Dollars today and 3 hours later he quit. The transaction will be finalized late 2018 or early 2019.
In a shocking turn of events, Elon Musk just announced that he's quitting Twitter. In a tweet today, Musk announced that he's deleting the Boring Company's and SpaceX's Twitter accounts and that he's quitting Twitter. Musk's tweets about deleting the Twitter accounts came in response to a question from a Twitter user about when those accounts would be deleted. "Twitter is to blame. But of course, so is @jack and the Twitter team. It's their product," Musk responded.
After the aquisition he announced that they are ditching the 140 character limit. “Perhaps one of the biggest problems facing Twitter today is that the character limit is a major hindrance. It causes people to miss out on a lot of content and is a very, very archaic way of interacting with people. This move will allow people to instantly share their thoughts and opinions and should lead to increased usage. I personally welcome the change as I use Twitter to post blogs.”
Elon Musk bought Twitter because Elon Musk is rich. Elon Musk bought Twitter because Elon Musk likes Twitter. Elon Musk bought Twitter because Elon Musk likes money. Elon Musk bought Twitter because Elon Musk likes Twitter and money.
He made a great deal of money from that. Now he has said that he is planning to make a deal with Twitter to build a tunnel between LA and San Francisco. He said that this will cost 10 Billion Dollars. If that is true, then he has a real chance of making a deal with Twitter. He will get to build the tunnel without any public funds. It is not a good idea to do a deal with Twitter without asking questions. The last thing we need is a tunnel that will be used to transport users. Twitter should not be involved in any such thing. If he can do a deal with Twitter, then he will have to make sure that it is a deal that will benefit both sides. Musk has also said that he will use the tunnel to transport cars. That is a great idea. He will save a lot of money on parking and gas.
Elon Musk bought Twitter for 44 Billion Dollars today and 4Chan and 8Chan are now up for sale. 4Chan and 8Chan are two of the most popular websites on the internet. 4Chan is a board where you can post anonymously. 8Chan is a board where you can post anonymously. 4Chan and 8Chan have been in the news a lot lately because a lot of conspiracy theories are posted on these websites. 4Chan and 8Chan are run by the same person. 4Chan and 8Chan are both for sale. 4Chan and 8Chan are both worth a lot of money. 4Chan and 8Chan are both popular websites. 4Chan and 8Chan are both for sale for 44 Billion Dollars.
