Consciousness is something beyond conceptual thinking/intellect, that's why it can't be defined. It's the source of our own creation, it's the essence of who we are: the light of consciousness. It is what connects all of us, non-duality, we are all the same (one could say: we are all vibing on the same frequency of consciousness). The universe experiences itself through each one of us, through our consciousness.

You are talking about "my consciousness", but you don't have an own. That would be ego. The one who really gets conscious is losing his ego and all of his conceptual identity, which is anyways an illusion, an idea, it doesn't really exist.

Try to see it like this: the mind is devided in four different dimensions, 1. the logical thinking 2. memory 3. ego/identity 4. consciousness. Good working logical thinking combined with good memory is considered as intellect. Most people add ego/identity in all of their doing, which is just for their sense of self, but it's a false reality, a conceptual identity, which - again - doesn't really exist. Consciousness is intelligence/creation, it connects - so it is the opposite of logical/conceptual thinking.
